01 / OUR STUDIOABOUT AERLUNE / DESIGN AS A PRACTICE

Made of detail.
Defined by intent.

Aerlune approaches private aircraft interiors as carefully connected environments. We look at the cabin not only as a setting for travel, but as an intimate architectural space shaped by movement, touch and time.

02 / A CONSIDERED EYETHE STUDIO ETHOS

Design begins long before a finish is chosen.

We begin with the way the aircraft is used, the seating experience it should offer and the visual identity its interior should express. Those observations give each decision a purpose, from an armrest detail to the relationship between two neighbouring materials.

The work draws on spatial reasoning, surface studies and the careful coordination of decorative ideas. The intention is a cabin that feels like one continuous composition rather than a collection of unrelated upgrades.

03 / OUR POINT OF VIEWHOW THE STUDIO THINKS

A more attentive
way to design.

Private aviation interiors require a deliberate balance: visual quiet without monotony, practicality without sacrificing beauty, and bespoke character without overlooking the aircraft's constraints.

Ⅰ

Listen to the cabin.

Consider existing geometry, how zones connect and what the owners value when travelling. This prevents a material palette from becoming detached from the actual aircraft.

Ⅱ

Let materials lead.

Explore tone, texture, light and the transitions between them. Small sample combinations can reveal differences that are difficult to judge on a screen.

Ⅲ

Refine as a whole.

Carry recurring details through the space, so seating, finishes and trim read as parts of one intentional visual system.

04 / PROJECT STAGESTHE WORKING RHYTHM

From a first note
to a clear direction.

Design evolves through informed choices. Each stage provides a more focused view of what is being proposed and what remains to be reviewed.

01 /

Discovery and aircraft brief

Clarify the aircraft model, current cabin context, functional priorities, owner preferences and the areas under consideration.

02 /

Concept and material direction

Develop visual references, palette studies and initial proposals for seating, surfaces and decorative character.

03 /

Detail and design development

Refine junctions, colour relationships and selected material combinations, with practical constraints informing revisions.

04 /

Review and handover of design intent

Consolidate decisions into a coherent design direction for discussion with relevant technical and implementation parties.
